The shelters are above-ground, fully-accessible structures, and meet the strictest standards of the IDF Home Front Command. Lifeshield shelters are transported by truck, and can be relocated to meet changing security needs.

WHY DOES ISRAEL NEED BOMB SHELTERS?
ABOUT THE SHELTERS
Our shelters are constructed in Israel by leading manufacturers of steel-reinforced concrete products, and deployed quickly. We are continuously overwhelmed with requests from municipalities asking for shelters, with preparation against enemy attack an ongoing measure. Our 1000+ shelters currently deployed have been donated by caring individuals and organizations from around the world, including Jewish and Christian groups.
